Walking tacos are the perfect MVP for any Super Bowl party. They're quick, easy, and each guest can customize to their heart's desire. The kicker? Prep is easy and clean up is a breeze with so few dishes! Don't get sacked by the usual boring appetizers or fumble with a stale bag of chips. Ingredients
Meat
1-2 tbsp olive oil
16 oz boneless, skinless chicken breast
12 oz Avocado Cilantro Lime salsa
32 oz ground beef, 93% lean
19 oz red enchilada sauce
Toppings
Variety pack of Doritos and Fritos (or these walking tacos from Amazon)
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Pickled red onions
Cilantro, chopped
Green onions, chopped
White onion, chopped
Jalapenos, diced
Limes, sliced
Queso
Salsa
Lettuce, shredded
Hot sauce
Instructions
Step 1
In a crockpot or with a pan on stovetop, begin warming at a medium heat. Once pan or crockpot has heated, add 1-2 tbsp olive oil and add meat, cooking chicken and beef separately.
Step 2
Allow to cook completely; 165° internal temperature for chicken, and ground beef will be browned with no pink. Shred chicken. Optional: Add Avocado Lime Cilantro salsa to chicken and Red Enchilada sauce to beef, turn heat to low.
Step 3
Set out as many chips and toppings as your counter space can hold, making sure you offer a variety of hot sauce. The key to perfecting a walking taco is setting the chip bag on its side and cutting it open with scissors. Mix and toss your creation until each bite will be perfect, and enjoy!
