About the Recipe
This creamy protein shake brings together the cozy flavors of pumpkin pie with the indulgence of salted caramel, all in a nutritious, high-protein blend. It’s the perfect post-workout treat or quick breakfast that tastes like dessert.

Ingredients
1 scoop protein powder of your choice (caramel, vanilla, chocolate, or plain)
3/4 cup milk (I use non-fat, lactose-free Fairlife)
1/4 cup pumpkin purée - NOT pumpkin pie puree
1 Medjool date, pitted and roughly chopped
1/2 banana, sliced and frozen
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2-1 tsp maple syrup, to taste
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup ice
Sprinkle nutmeg - it is a powerful flavor, don't overdo it
Optional:
Vanilla extract if using a plain protein powder
1-2 tbsp peanut butter or PBFit powder
1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice - if you have it
Instructions
Step 1
Blend the dates first with half of your milk to ensure they break down smoothly into a caramel-like texture.
Step 2
Add protein powder, rest of milk, pumpkin purée, frozen banana, cinnamon, maple syrup, and sea salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Step 3
Option to add peanut butter, vanilla extract, and/or ice for different flavors and thicker consistency.
Step 4
Taste and adjust sweetness or salt level as necessary.
Step 5
Pour into a glass, adding any toppings like whipped cream or salted caramel drizzle, and enjoy!
